Time for tea and fun and games

At Greenwich Market every August Wednesday 12noon to 5pm, 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th August

Wednesday’s Greenwich Market will be home to South London’s coolest afternoon Fayre this August. Local traders are inviting visitors to relax in Flowerhouse’s pop up garden and enjoy an afternoon cream tea, a cooling ice cream or a cup of delicious Monmouth Coffee.

Little visitors will be kept amused decorating cup cakes (under the experienced eye of Ms Cupcake), crafting beaded jewellery at the Beadoir workshops, trying out Compendia’s classic game of Quoits, having their faces painted or just bouncing away to their hearts’ delight on the very bouncy castle. And of course this is the perfect opportunity for everyone to partake in some valuable retail therapy.

Greenwich Market, with its vibrant atmosphere and commitment to showcasing designer makers, is fondly regarded as one of London's best markets. Discover original artworks and handcrafted toys, vintage fashions and handmade jewellery, delicious fresh produce and mouth-watering food-to-go. Greenwich Market has it all under one roof. The many market shops and popular Coach & Horses and Admiral Hardy pubs are open all week. Arts, craft and food stalls run Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 5.30pm, with antiques, vintage and collectables on Thursday.
