It's sales time

At Babanya there's 50 per cent off Hobbs clothes and shoes, and 30 per cent off everything else including the coveted Marc O'Polo range and Part Two maxi dresses.

Meanwhile at Joy, they are offering a range of discounts starting from 30 per cent and going up to a massive 70 per cent off on women's and men's clothing. Everything has been knocked down at Bullfrogs too, with new discounts every day. And Hide All is offering up to 50 per cent off on selected items from its Billy Bag and Radley ranges. And we just know you're going to be tempted by all of their new Autumn/Winter arrivals too...

Hello Petal!

There have been many homages to Greenwich but there was nothing in the form of a bib before Beauty and the Bib came along. This fabulous new 'Greenwich Rocks' design is just one of the many new bibs that have just arrived in store. You can also buy your little cherub a 'nickname' bib - so far you can choose from 'Poppet', 'Monkey', 'Bear', 'Button' (also ideal for fans of Jenson), 'Tigger' and 'Petal'.

Also new for this season are some fruity designs using cherries, bananas and carrots and, perfect for the height of summer, gorgeous pink and white spotty rompers with matching sunhats and bibs. All bibs are £8 each, or buy two for an amazing £12. Watch this space for news of the new box sets.

Take the Biscuit

It's nearly the summer holidays and thoughts are turning to how to entertain the kids. Well, help is on hand in the form of Biscuit Ceramic Cafe on Nelson Road.

It's always been the perfect place to pop to with all the family and now founder Paul Cunningham is launching a weekday summer holiday club running from 3-7, 10-14 and 17-21 August, suitable for children aged five to 12. The creative workshops, which cost £15 per day or £65 for a week, involve not just ceramics but various forms of painting and making too so get ready to clear some shelf and wall space in anticipation of many new masterpieces!

Hey baby, it's summertime!

There's so much good stuff in store at Green Baby it's hard to know where to start. One of our favourite ranges has to be the exclusive Green Baby + Mitty James organic beachwear. Better still, the long pale blue hooded outfit pictured here is now 30% off! It's perfect to pop on after a swim.

Also in store are UV sun hats and sun suits and an all natural factor 50+ sun protection lotion from Kid Sun Care. This cream is specially formulated for extremely sensitive skin and sensibly priced at just £13. There's also the deet-free mosquito patches (available exclusively through Green Baby) which is a must if you're heading to mozzie territory. The patches are sold 24 for £5.99 and are suitable for all ages, even infants.

Picnic in the park

The lovely people at Rhodes are set to launch a new picnic box. The mini hamper can be ordered for one or there's a sharing box to cater for three (or two if you're very hungry!).

It will include everything you need for an excellent al fresco dining experience including a ground sheet and cutlery! Food contents (and price) will vary but as a guide you can expect Rhodes' very own delicious baguette plus dips, olives, cheeses and charcuterie, a drink and of course dessert.

You will be be able to order 24 hours in advance at the store or by phone.

Greenwich Market has it all

We all have our favourite stall at Greenwich Market. For food, Jay's steamed sea bass bento and salmon teriyaki is a clear winner. If you need a bit of TLC then pop to see Warrick at Complementary Corner.

When it comes to gifts, I just adore Angels and and Cherubs - the beautiful silver bracelets are my fail-safe for gifts, as my mum, sister-in-law and best friend will tell you.

And my other favourite is QQ Castle - Amy's beautifully handmade sock toys and key charms are guaranteed to make you smile. There are so many designs to choose from such as Monkey, Bear, Rabbit, Dog and Frog - you won't just be able to buy one!
